Apt Wins DMO Contract

Following a competitive public tender process (DPC 1396/2/0007), Apt Business Solutions has been awarded a 3+ year contract to supply System Support and Maintenance services for the ADO’s tri-service Emerald engineering management system.
Company Software Development System Certified for Military Applications

Apt’s comprehensive and mature Software Development Lifecycle processes have gained certification to the ISO 9001:2000 standard by Lloyd’s Register (Quality Assurance). The scope of certification is as follows:
- Software Design and Engineering for enterprise-scale data processing and business intelligence systems for military applications
Apt Appointed to DMO Panel

Follwing a public Request for Tender (06/030-COO) issued by Defence Materiel Office's
Chief Operating Officer in September 2006, Apt Business Solutions was notified of
its successful appointment to the DMO Support Services (DMOSS) Panel. Commencing
on 12 March 2007, Apt is providing seven distinct skill sets to DMOSS, spanning
the following three disciplines:
- Information System Design Services
- Information Technology Support and Delivery Services
- Information Systems Development
Microsoft Publishes Case Study

In recognition of a significant Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence solution designed and developed by Apt Business Solutions for the Australian Department of Defence (called NetMAARS), Microsoft commissioned a formal Case Study of the solution. ISA Accreditation

Apt’s IT Infrastructure and security procedures were audited by Defence’s Information Systems Accreditation (ISA) branch) of the Chief Information Officer Group (CIOG). Following this review, Apt Business Solutions was certified to process and handle classified data.
DISP Accreditation
12 October 2006
Apt’s premises and physical security procedures were audited by the Defence Security Authority (DSA) during September 2006. Following this review, Apt Business Solutions was certified as a member of the Defence Industrial Security Program (DISP) with a Facilities Accreditation (FA) to handle classified material.
New Premises

In order to meet the stringent security requirements of our clients, Apt has recently relocated its operations to new premises in Fyshwick, Australian Capital Territory (ACT). This new facility provides the company with a highly secure site and with room to cater for future growth.
